COVID-19 Updates

In light of the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in NJ, we have been planning for what the next few months might look like. Some measures taken by DATA Group Central include:

• We re-iterated the importance of safety and hygienic behavior for all staff.

• Staff are now required to fill out and submit an electronic self-screening tool each morning that they will treat a student.

• We are requiring each staff member to check their own and their student’s temperatures upon arrival at each home each day (similar to schools taking a temperature of staff and students before entering). We have sent digital forehead thermometers to each student’s house for staff to use, and have a log sheet for staff to record temperatures.

• We are working will all families and staff on responsible scheduling and staffing. We are making every attempt to balance the appropriate amount of therapy hours with fewer adults entering the home on a regular basis.

• We are supplying our staff with PPE upon request to ensure adherence to proper health and safety standards.

• Staff are advised to stay home if they feel unwell or are exhibiting any symptoms.
